Primicia Picual has received a Gold Medal at the 2026 ATHENA International Olive Oil Competition. The award recognizes a 100% Picual EVOO produced in Extremadura.
The distinction documents a new international result for this single-varietal EVOO in the Primicia collection. Product, variety, competition and year are directly identified in the Martín de Prado awards archive.
ATHENA IOOC 2026 also awarded a Gold Medal to Primicia Manzanilla. The Primicia collection therefore received two gold medals in the same edition, one for each of these single-varietal EVOOs.
The Primicia Picual result joins an international record containing distinctions from different editions and competitions. Communication of this new gold follows the Martín de Prado editorial standard: identify the awarded product, result, competition and year without making absolute claims.
